How Do I Delete Or Un-Delete An Appointment Request

Delete Appointment Request

At times, an agency worker or producer may start the process of requesting an appointment, but for one reason or another, will want to delete the request before it's processed. 

There is a procedure in SureLC that allows users to "Discard" the request so it does not show as Open on the producers Appointments screen.

Follow the steps below:

 

From Info and Appointments, bring up the producers Profile Card and click on Appointments

Single-click on the request you would like to Discard. The SureCL screen splits in two.

Click Add Comment. (see the above screen shot)

Click the Discarded radio button and add a comment, if needed. If this is a comment you do not want the producer to see, click the Do Not Show To Producer checkbox. Once you have completed the required information, click Save

To see a producers Discarded appointment requests, click on All Open in the upper left hand corner of the screen and choose Discarded. 

****Please note: Discarded appointment requests stay in the system for approx. 6 months, then get completely deleted.****

 

Un-Delete Appointment Request

From Info and Appointments, bring up the producers Profile Card and click on Appointments

Click on All Open in the upper left hand corner and choose Discarded

Single-click the Appointment Request you want to un-delete, then click Add Comment

To move the Appointment Request back to Open status, click the radio button labeled Agency, then click Save

This moves the Appointment Request back to the producer's Open appointments screen. To get back to the producers Open appointment requests, click Discarded in the upper right hand corner of the screen and choose All Open. Here, you will see the Appointment Request that was moved from  Discarded status to the Agency status.
