SuranceBay utilizes two types of APIs. Rest API and Swagger API. Please see below for more info on each API. This service is offered at no charge to SuranceBay clients with a SureLC multi-carrier account. However, should your agency require any support from our IT team using this API, our normal and customary fee of $200/hr for custom support services applies. API access is not available for affiliate or sponsored agency accounts.

REST API
SuranceBay makes available our REST API, which allows authorized agencies to integrate many data elements within their SureLC account for their own purposes.

Swagger API
SuranceBay adds more features to our API via SWAGGER API, which allows authorized agencies to integrate many data elements within their SureLC account for their own purposes.

How to get started:
We need to know which admin/admins need access to create an API key. Please contact support@surancebay.com and let us know which admins need to be given access to API key management. Once we enable key management, please see "How to create a token."
How to create a token:
Once we have given an admin the ability to generate a key, follow the instructions below.
- Log in to SureLC, and click on the blue circle with your initials at the top right corner, then click "Account & Settings"
- Click API TOKENS
- Click ADD TOKEN
- Select every option EXCEPT "FireLight Can-Sell"
- Click APPLY
- IMPORTANT: Copy and paste the token value from the pop-up box. This is the ONLY time you'll be able to see it, so make sure you save it somewhere safe.
- Use the saved API token value to authenticate under the new API.
