American General appt. request is not showing on producers Appointments screen.

"Why is it that after I process a producers American General (AIG) contract, it does not show on his/her Open Appointments screen?" 

As you know, SureLC has a direct integration with AIG, meaning that when you process an AIG contract, the request is sent automatically to that carriers contracting department AND, an agent number is automatically assigned. 

Because the agent number is assigned at the time of processing, SureLC treats the request as a Completed appointment request. So where does it go? It goes to the producers Completed appointments file. To get there, follow the steps below. 

  • Go to the producers Appointments page. (From the producersProfile Card under Info and Appointments, click on the **Appointments** link) 
  • In the upper left hand corner of the screen, click on All Open, then choose Completed
  • There, you will see the Completed AIG contract request. 
  • Need to see the Agent Number? Single click on the carrier name. There it is on the bottom half of the screen under the Comments section.

If you need to re-open this appointment request for any reason, you will not be able to. Per the carrier, once an appointment request has been processed, it cannot be opened again for editing. If you need to adjust some information or edit the request in any way, you will be prompted to open a new request. If you simply need to look at the paperwork, click the e-Mail icon in the Get It column and choose BGA. If your e-Mail program is set up correctly to work with SureLC, a new e-Mail will generate with the AIG contracting bundle attached. You can open the attachment as needed.
