Data Express Updates - Producers

If you're a producer using SureLC, you may receive a Data Express update email for your review and approval. 

What is a Data Express Update? 

Data Express update requests are created by your agency when updated information needs to be sent to one or more carriers you work with (after your initial contracting/appointment). Data Express updates make it easier to keep your information up to date over time and can be sent to one or more carriers simultaneously. Data Express update requests may include: 

  • Address changes
  • Email updates
  • Phone number updates
  • E&O Policy changes  
  • EFT updates 
  • Producer Training updates

What to do when you receive a Data Express Update Email 

When a carrier requires your signature to approve an update request, you'll receive an email from contracts@surancebay.com, as shown in the following example. 

Step 1:  Open the email and click on the link to start the review process.

Step 2: Enter the last 6 digits of your SSN and DOB to sign in.

Step 3: Review the forms included in the request to ensure the information is correct. Approve the request by selecting the Apply My Signature button or decline it by selecting the Decline button. When a request is approved, it will be sent to the carrier.

When a request is declined, a reason must be provided. Once declined, your agency will be notified automatically via email.

Multiple Requests

When multiple Data Express reviews are pending, you'll see a row for each carrier. Select each carrier row to review the forms for that carrier. After completing your review, you can approve it by selecting Apply My Signature or decline it. Approving the request will send the updated information to each carrier.

Viewing Update Requests in your SureLC Profile  

To access pending requests, log in to your SureLC profile and go to the Contracting -> Requests page. Pending Data Express requests that require your review and signature will be listed on the At Producer page. Select Open to start your review.

Review the forms and updated information included in the request. Select Apply My Signature to approve and sign the request, or you can choose to Decline the update. Once your signature is applied, the update request will be sent to the carrier. When multiple requests are pending, they can be reviewed and approved or declined simultaneously.

Once a signature is applied, the update request will be sent to the carrier and listed on the At Carrier page. Data Express requests that are At Carrier do not require any further action.
