Producers -> PST Carrier Courses

Producers can now complete carrier-specific product training courses directly from their SureLC profile or through SuranceBay's Training Portal. This article explains:

How producers with a SureLC profile can access and complete carrier product training courses from within their profile.

How producers without a SureLC profile can create an account and access the SuranceBay Training Portal to complete required carrier training.

Step 1: Log in to your SureLC profile. 

Step 2: Select "CE & Training" from the menu. 

Step 3: Select the "PST CARRIER COURSES" tab. 

Step 4: Locating Carrier Training Courses: 

  • Use the search field to locate the carrier/course you are looking for by name, or scroll through the list.  
  • Once located, check the status of each course to see which are pending or completed. For any courses that are "Incomplete", select "Start Course" to begin the course.  
  • Once you complete a course, you'll receive a certificate and can access your certificates from the PST Carrier Courses tab at any time after. Completed course certificates will automatically be included with new carrier contract requests when the carrier requires them.

👉 Please note: The carrier courses that are available for training are determined by the carriers that your agency is contracted to do business with.

2. How to Access the Training Portal Directly

Registered and non-registered producers can access carrier training courses directly from:  

https://surelc.surancebay.com/carrier-training/ 

  1. If you are a registered producer and already have a SureLC profile, select "Sign in & Start Training".  
  2. Or, if you aren't registered with an agency that uses SureLC, select "Create an Account" to join the training program.  

👉 Please note: Some carriers may send you their carrier-specific training link. You can also use carrier-specific training links to access carrier training courses, but only for the carrier that shared the link. 

 

Producer Sign-In & Start Training

For registered producers, enter a valid user ID email and password to log into the Training Portal.

Once logged in to the Training Portal, you can review the list of available carriers, start a training course, and view and download copies of completed training certificates. 

  1. Select "Start Course" to begin any training course. 
  2. Select "View Certificate" to view or download completed course certificates.

3. How to Create a Training Account when you don't have a SureLC Profile

If you're a licensed producer and you don't have a SureLC profile, you can register for a training account by doing the following: 

Step 1: Go to https://surelc.surancebay.com/carrier-training/ or use the weblink provided by the carrier. 

Step 2: Select the "Create an Account" button.

Step 3: When prompted, enter your NPN or CRD # followed by your email address.

👉 Please note: You MUST have an active state license to complete registration. 

 

Step 4: After you register successfully, you'll receive a welcome email from setup@surancebay.com. Use the link Click Here link to create a password and activate your account. Once created, you can log into the Training Portal with your account credentials and access training courses from there.
