These are the master settings for your agency. Once logged in as an agency admin, select Agency Settings (the gear icon) in the navigation panel to access Agency Settings. The agency settings page is broken up into the 2 sections (General Info, and Principals). General info is where the agency's account information and dedicated weblink (used by your producers to login and/or register for new SureLC accounts) can be found. Principals is used to add your agency's signing officer (to make their signature available to apply to producer contracting forms). Select the desired tab to review and update the settings within that section. Use the links below to learn how review and update the information within each section.
General Info
This tab shows your agency's account information. Review the details below to see how this information will be used.
Agency Account Information
1. General Info / Agency ID # - This is your agency's unique identification number. Providing this number to the SuranceBay support team will save time when reaching out for assistance.
2. Name - Your agency's name which was provided to SuranceBay during the onboarding process. Please note your agency name will be shown on the login screen to producers, in the help and support section, and on email correspondence.
3. EIN - Your agency's employee identification number. This number will be used to pull your agency information in from NIPR when your agency is added as a firm.
4. Office Manager - The name of your agency's office manager which is used for contact information.
5. Contact Email - Your agency's contact email. This email will be shown on the SureLC for Producers login screen to producers and used for email correspondence when submitting new carrier contracts. This is also where your agency will receive email notifications for new producer registrations (if enabled) and when new and carrier contract requests.
6. Phone - Your agency's main phone number. This phone number will be shown on login screens and in the help and support section of the SureLC for Producers web interface. It will also be sent to carriers along with your contact email when new contract requests are submitted.
7. Fax - Your agency's fax number should be entered here.
8. Business address - Your agency's current business address. Use the pencil icon to update as needed.
9. Mailing address - Your agency's current mailing address. Use the pencil icon to update as needed.
10. Login and Registration Page for Producers - This is your agency's unique dedicated weblink. Share this weblink with your producers who will use it to register and login to their SureLC profiles.
Principals
How to Add a Principal
This tab is used to set up your agency principal signing officer. Before a principal can be added, that person MUST first be registered as a producer in your SureLC account. After theya are registered, use the right page to locate their account and select the + button to add them to the Selected Principals list. You can add as many principals as you want.
1. Selected Principals - This section shows all of the principal signers that have been added to your SureLC account so far. The top selection will be chosen as the default signer.
2. Select Principal - Use this pane to choose the principal you wish to add. Search for the person you want to add as a principal and select the + button to add them as a principal.
Please note: Principals are the top-level signing officers, principal signatures can be added to the "Certified by" section and/or at the desired level when processing new carrier contract request on the final processing step.
