This article explains how agency admins can use the Fastlane feature to quickly create one or more carrier contract requests as a batch saving valuable time. Use this feature to create multiple carrier contracts and send them to one producer or to create one carrier contract and send it to multiple producers.

How to Create One Carrier Contract Request and Send to Multiple Producers 

• Login to SureLC.
• Select the Fastlane in the navigation menu.

• Select One Carrier to Many Producers.  

Step 1: Carrier & Product Selection

Select the Carrier and Products. When ready, select Next to continue. 

A. Carrier - Use the search field to locate the desired carrier in the list. 

B. Products - Select one or more products from the list. 

 

Step 2: Producer Selection

Add all of the producers you would like to send the carrier contract request to. Then click Next to continue. 

Step 3: State Selection 

Select the desired states for each producer. Please note you can use any of the default Presets to save time (these are global settings that will be applied to ALL producers). Then click Next to continue. 

Please note: If a state has a circular arrow next to it, that means it's a pre-appointment state which is based on the carrier selection. Pre-appointment states (also known as restricted states) are states that require a producer to have an approved and effective state appointment with the insurance carrier PRIOR to signing or dating a new business application in that state.

 

Step 4: Hierarchy & Commissions 

Select a hierarchy & compensation schedule or enter the desired hiearchy and compensation information. Please note that this info can be left blank and added later during the contract review. Click Next to continue.  

 

Step 5: Carrier Questions 

Answer the carrier questions (if applicable). The answers will apply to ALL of the producer contract requests created for this carrier. Please note these questions can be filled out at a later time (during contract review process). Click Next to continue. 

Please note: The Agent Writing # and Firm # do not need to be added at this time. 

 

Step 6: Preview 

Preview the contract information before submitting the request. This includes the carrier, products (section A), and the selected producers (section B). Select the Submit button to create the contract requests and send them to the selected producers as request review emails. 

Once the carrier contracts have been created confirmation message will be shown...

 

Each producer will receive a request review email from contracts@surancebay.com for the selected carrier. They can start their contract review by selecting the "Start Your Review at SureLC" button.

How to Create Multiple Carrier Contract Requests for One Producer

• Login to SureLC.
• Select the Fastlane in the navigation menu.

• Select One Producer to Many Carriers 

Step 1: Producer Selection

Select the producer and then click Next to continue. 

Step 2: Carrier Selection 

Add the desired carriers to the selected list and then click Next to continue. 

 

Step 3: State Selection 

Select the desired states for each carrier (section A). Or, use the Global States settings to enable the selected states for ALL of the selected carriers. When ready, click next to continue.

 

Step 4: Product Selection  

Select individual products per carrier (section A) or global products (section B) which apply to ALL of the selected carriers (when avaialble). Once the desired products have been selected, click Next to continue. 

Step 5: Preview

Review the selected producer information (section A). If changes are needed select the previous button to go back. Next, review the selected carrier, state, and product information (section B). Select submit to create the contract requests. 

Once the carrier contracts have been created confirmation message will be shown...

 

The producer will receive a request review email from contracts@surancebay.com for each of the selected carriers. They can start their contract review by selecting the "Start Your Review at SureLC" button in the email.
