Set default view in Work Inbox

Submitted by Brad Aden at 360 Financial Group

It would be great to be able to set default settings for the Work Inbox area.  For example, I will never in a million years look at carrier view, it will always be producer... and I also only want to check the files sitting at the agency, not the ones at the carrier or producer.

Good idea. Please note with SureApp, which will include Agency Management Services (AMS) - changing status from "@Carrier" to "Completed" may be something that people will use more often than they do now.

Breakdown of appointment statuses within SureLC:

@Producer - Producer has started appointment process, but hasn't actually submitted the request to their agency. Alternatively, an Agency Administrator may change the status back to @Producer when it's necessary for the agency and/or carrier to obtain additional information from the producer that the carrier is requesting.

@BGA - Most often - requests that have a status of @BGA are those requests that the producer has initiated within SureLC, but the Agency Administrator has not yet processed for any reason.

@Carrier - Contracts that are processed by the Agency Administrator, EVEN WHEN the Carrier checkbox is NOT selected, are automatically updated to the status of @Carrier. Most Agency Administrators select "BGA" or "Administrator" when processing contracts. SureLC automatically changes the status to "@Carrier" because it's presumed that the Agency Administrator will forward the received merged.pdf file to the carrier's L&C department.

@Completed - These are contracts where either an agent number has been assigned, or the appointment request was denied by the carrier. Either way, it's been "Completed".

For avoidance of doubt - the notes I just made are for educational purposes only. The request to set default views within the Work-Inbox has been noted and is likely something our developers will enhance at some point.
